Job Summary:
We are hiring an SVP/ V.P-Business Development to grow revenue within existing client accounts in the Pharma and Life Sciences industry. This role is focused on Growth Accounts—clients with current engagements—where the goal is to identify new opportunities across Clinical, R&D, and adjacent domains.

Responsibilities:
- Expand business within assigned Growth Accounts through proactive opportunity identification.
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders across Clinical and R&D and adjacent domains.
- Collaborate with delivery and solution teams to craft winning proposals.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Lead strategic account planning and manage the sales cycle from lead to closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients to secure profitable deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing the value of our services.
- Mentor junior team members and support the development of account growth strategies.
- Stay updated with Pharma/Life Sciences trends, regulatory shifts, and client needs.
- Represent i2e Consulting at industry events, conferences, webinars and summits; actively participate as a speaker or panelist to showcase domain expertise and thought leadership.
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in business development/account management in the IT services sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Prior experience with large consulting or IT services firms.
- Strong understanding of Clinical Development, R&D IT, and Pharma business drivers.
- Proven success in managing and growing business accounts
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and team leadership skills.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
